Yea, for a Jets fan there is nothing better then to go to a Stadium that is not their teams, get drunk by the 1st quarter, and start at least 2 fights by half....oh and they also like to watch the game, when they get a chance.:D

That's not true, there are alot of drunks but they are everywhere. people are in to the game, I went to a game at NE and the fans there did not care about the game for a second. They were just happy getting drunk and screaming "NY sucks, yankees suck, Mets suck, Jets suck,...".

Buddy...you seem to forget that in the not so distant past...when your team was nothing more than a disgusting green pimple on the butt of the NFL that that stadium wasn't exactly full most Sundays and the only thing you guys had to live for was a shot at beating the Fins...

Believe me I don't forget but the difference is all of our games were still sold out it's just we were so bad people paid for the right not to show up. I have been to every home game since 1990 and in the mid 90s it was brutal.

In all seriousness I will usually have 2 extra tickets and I would just give them away or sell them at face but I couldn't sell them to a dolphin fan.

There is a large Jets banner on the building on Gamedays but it does not cover up the Giants Stadium sign at the top.

I know, only kidding, but you have to admit the Jets fans used to be one of the worst, but I must admit they have gotten better.

I have been to every game since 1990 and I think the behavior of the Jets fans has been exaggerated. It was definitely worse when we stunk but then season ticket holders weren't going and people just got drunk to wash away what they were watching but it was still never as bad as it has been made out to be.

I know, don't blame you on that.....very big rivalry going here. Actually I will be going this week with a Jets fan, and Giants fan. If Miami loses, I have to hear it from both of them, If Miami wins, the Giants fan will not be as brutal with the Jets fan......is that fair? :mad:

My friend got a bottle thrown to his head (did not break, thank goodness), another friend that I know from a sports bar I go to, had a massive black eye from a Jets fan that sucker punched him for no reason (Another Jets fan ran after the guy and caught him for police though), Someone else I knew went to a jets game and found beer was being poured on him and his wife. A Giants friend of mine told me that when the Jets and Giants were playing one time, in the bathroom, a Jets fans at the urinal, started to relieve himself on a Giants fan next to him.

Friends, family, and I went one time to a game, and a very very drunk Jets fan (W/ his friends) wanted to fight us, just because we were wearing Dolphins gear. Let us also not forget the Monday night game where there were countless fights, a blowup doll thrown around, and a man putting out a fire while also going to the bathroom by his section......I think Giff made a statement that he had never seen something like this in his life. They used to be very bad, maybe not eagle fans bad, but pretty close.

There will always be isolated incidents, there were alot of incidents at the Jets-Miami game I went to in Miami in '98, nothing happened to me but I saw things happening. As for your 2nd paragrpah, that was the 80s when they had no restrictions on beer. i didn't have season tickets back then and I kind of forgot so you are right it was nuttier back then.

Don't know yet, the Jets fan is the one that is going to be getting the tickets for us, if he can't go, or not able to get tickets (he gets them for free), then I guess it will be watching the game at home for me. :D
