The Jets, coming off one of the worst seasons in franchise history, have reached an agreement in principle with 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh to be their next head coach.

Yeah living in Northern CA I loosely follow the Niners and he’s done some good things there.
I do have some questions about how his personality will transition to head coach (the high energy guys like him tend to be best served as coordinators long term) and of course the question will be was the 9ers 9 him or the combo of first round DL the 9ers have, but I do think it's an annoyingly good hire.

Decent hire. I’m just relieved they didn’t get Pat Fitzgerald. They got a bunch of picks and could possibly build a dominant offensive line if they take Sewell. I’d also be concerned if they get Najee with there second first round pick. I’m really hoping they gamble on a QB.

Ok. The Jets hit a home run with that hire. I hate it but he will change that culture instantly.
