Jets may just lose the Game on purpose ......

Scenario: the Patsies and Ravens play at 1pm, if they win. The Jets will go into our game knowing that they have nothing to play for other than pride.

Situation: Are the Jets willing to purposely lose to us in order for the patsies not to win the Division?

My thoughts: I dont see the Jets flopping just so we can win the division. Dont get me wrong, I am confident that we will beat the Jets but what if we are not firing on all cylinders and may loose?

Your thoughts?

No sir....you are wrong. The Ravens play at the same time as us, so the Jets wont know their fate ahead of time.
 
I agree with FinsFan74 we played our best season in the last 5 years I'm pretty sure of it.
Between the Falcons and Miami I still say we had the best turn around starting out with an almost all new roster.
The only reason I wouldn't think Coach of the Year comes home to Miami is because of the Tuna.
Alot of people are thinking it was ALL his doing that Miami turned their season around.
 
The Jets would never blow a chance at playing spoilers. Especially against us.

I completly agree. They hate us way too much to hand us a victory. If we want a win we will have to pry it from their dieing hands. They hate us waymore then the patriots. They have a kinship with their northen cousins up in Foxboro. They are cut from the same mold and they despise everything we represent to them.

I really don't see why they would purposely lose to us. They hate us, if penny beats them they won't hear the end of it, all the money they spent in the offseason will be questioned, and it'll probably seal the deal for mangini being done in NY.

I'll love every bit of this game when Miami wins since all I hear here in Wisconsin is how great Brett Favre is and how everyone is cheering for the Jets so that GB gets a higher pick. How can you not cheer for a team that was 1-15 only a year ago in this situation anyway. I would like to see Mangini stay so he can keep coaching the Jets horribly like he is.

I would really like to see Pennington get this game. It would mean so much for him and this team. I read an article where Joey Porter said how much it will mean to Chad when they win and how much they want to win it for him. Penny deserves it after the kind of year he had and a win here I think will propel them to another level for the playoffs.

Agreed!! I would love for us to bring home the Division Crown but if not I am very proud of our players and coaching staff. What a great season!! Didn't expect 10 wins this season but our organization has really turned the corner. We will be competitive for a good while.
 
This would be like the Redskins losing to the Cowboys on purpose or the Broncos giving up the ghost purposely to the Raiders. Never gonna happen.
