But you were a darned good WR and I wished you played for us. Great career, Wayne!
 
Wes Welker reminds me a great deal of Chrebet. I wish him the best in his future endeavors. Was a class act and I'm sure the jets will miss his leadership.
 
Woo, there goes a few less 3rd and longs the Jets will convert against us.

He was a fine player........you respect a player who got by on heart more than pure athletic ability.

But leave it to Jet fans to over-blow what he accomplished. As I could have predicted, while discussing his career/retirment on the radio around here, you have some Jet fans calling up talking about the Hall of Fame!!! LMFAO!!! Art Monk isn't in, Michael Irvin isn't in.....but come on in Wayne!!
 
he was tuff. but I alwasy hated him for being a jet. He prol knew that him and the jets have no chance
