Redskins have HUGE Dilemma. Love Brandon Scherff but recognize edge rusher value won't last til Rd 2. Hence why they're trying trade down

Jets called Browns about trading out 6. Jets aggressor so won't get full value, but looking trade out if possible. GM wants recoup pick(s)

Raiders- Looking trade back into Rd1 if don't go WR at 4. Packers & Raiders have dialogue. Ted 'Trade Down' Thompson always listens

Redskins discussions w/ Bears, Rams, Vikings, Browns & Saints on trading down from 5th Overall. No talk w/ Eagles, pick very much available

These teams have the right idea. I wouldn't trade up for any player in this draft even one of the top WR's. I would do everything to trade down and accumulate picks. This draft has much more value in rounds 2-5. If our FO is wanting to emphasize a youth movement then we need to get rookies who can contribute and start this year.

That's not true at all. Value is overrated. Is the player good? Does he fit the system? Chances of finding starters outside of the first 100 picks is slim..go for greatness.

if i hear "value" one more time im gonna puke

the fact that so many teams want to trade town from top 10 only provides us an opportunity to cop an elite talent if the deal is right. there's your "value" right there.

at the end of the day we don't need to trade up or down, i'd be totally happy staying put, but if we can score a deal like we did with the raiders to move up well.....why not? that's better value then you'll find anywhere in the draft.

I agree go for greatness. I'm not sure there are any great players besides maybe a few. The CB's are good not great. The LB's are good not great. The OL are good not great perhaps Sheriff becomes great. The WR's outside of Cooper and White (maybe) are good not great. I'm questioning if even those two will be great. Seems there are a lot of good players that can be nice additions but no transcendent or great players. Just my opinion of course.

That's the special thing about the draft. Nobody knows exactly.

Nobody though Beckham JR would be such a freak NFL player..if they had foresight he would've been drafted way earlier.

There's a reason so many teams allegedly want to move down. That's what I mean by value in that you can find multiple players that can make Miami a playoff team instead of just one player that will do it. We have so many holes. Guess the biggest reason I don't want to move down is because we already have only 6 picks and I don't won't to give up anything else.

True we don't know. Let's hope we hit on some that do become great.

Definitely people didn't thing Rodgers would become great especially our coach at the time in Saban .... but he wasn't alone in that thought. Never know.

The 6 picks thing I get and agree with its a good point.

I think 14 is a good spot this year and don't want to see us trade down personally, and am not looking to sacrifice a 1st next year to trade up. Now, if they call for a 2nd next year and a late round this year (5th or 6th) now you have my attention

Great point. 14 in this draft is a good spot. This draft the talent isn't as top heavy as others in recent memory and some good players will tumble to that spot. I think there is a legit shot Waynes is there and that would be a great pick.

I think I agree. Haha , I think. We don't have any greatness on our offense yet. Give us one superstar player on offense and we are seriously dangerous. We've all seen time and again that the best players on the field will win you games. We never have them. With Suh we now have one on defense, we need one on offense.

**** it ... Everybody wants to trade down, as long as they can screw somebody over.

Or up, same reason.

This ain't news.

It's hard to trade down out of a position where no difference-makers are expected to be available. It tells me that players available at 14 are little better than players available at pick 24.

Yeah, nevermind my last post. After thinking about it, I don't even agree with it.

There will be good players at 14, just not good enough to where a team at 20 or higher would give us much to move up to 14.
