FALCONS SNARE COLEMAN
The post-Vick Atlanta Falcons have made their first free-agent acquisition.
According to Adam Schefter of NFL Network, Jets safety Erik Coleman has agreed to terms with the Falcons.
It's a four-year, $10 million deal, with a signing bonus of $3 million.
Coleman was a fifth-round pick of the Jets in 2004. He started in every game of his first two seasons, but started only four times in 2007.

It's a good signing by Atlanta. Coleman had 100+ tackles in each of his first three seasons. He's only 25yrs old and is a heck of a lot cheaper than a guy like Gibril Wilson. The safety market is getting bare now. Hopefully we sign someone (hopefull E.Wilson) soon.
