"Abraham Traded to Denver (and Other NFL Rumors)
Jets TV, a dandy new video blog (vlog) run by a young man with good J-E-T-S insight and on-camera presence, reports that his source tells him John Abraham has been traded to Denver for the 29th pick in this year's draft. Makes a lot of sense considering that #29 would look awfully enticing with their #4 in exchange for Houston's #1. That way NY could get the QB they want and the Texas could grab LT D'Brickashaw Ferguson and fill another need as well."

Why did you post this here and in the General NFL forum?

Also, that is older news that hasn't been 100% confirmed yet.

that sucks cuz now if RW is healthy we can't make that trade and i do think they are in serious need of a RB as they dont have anderson and bell will be ALLOWED to test FA this year and said miami might be a candidate for him. only progress is dayne is getting a contract and we all konw the rest.

Either way, if the Jets do trade up to the #1 spot, this would mean that we would be facing either Bush or Leinart two times per year for quite a while. While I am not one to worry about the future, and just take what is given in stride, I have to say I would rather take Bush right now. We have a very good line, and we have had a very good run defense for the past several years. Our passing defense has been aging and deteriorating. While I belive that they will get better, I feel that in the short run, stoping the run is our strength.

WHY?? Another weak armed QB would fit smashingly into their plans.

it could be bad .. or it could be great for us... but i like to think in term we can control and thats our team... think saban vs mangini..... :sidelol:

Yeah i herd that Abraham was going to be traded to the Falcon's for their first which is the 13 i think. I would much rather they get Denver's late pick than the Falcon's early one.

Just a rumor indeed, especially since the Broncos defensive line were great last season. One of the Top Run-Stop defensive line in the league last season. Though Larry Johnson made that defense look like straight up trash.

Abe is on the block and if we can get a 1st rounder and free up some cap space, it is good for us.
