"Abraham Traded to Denver (and Other NFL Rumors)
Jets TV, a dandy new video blog (vlog) run by a young man with good J-E-T-S insight and on-camera presence, reports that his source tells him John Abraham has been traded to Denver for the 29th pick in this year's draft. Makes a lot of sense considering that #29 would look awfully enticing with their #4 in exchange for Houston's #1. That way NY could get the QB they want and the Texas could grab LT D'Brickashaw Ferguson and fill another need as well."

Blogs are as reliable as Cold Pizza reports.

That's funny, the Bergen Record (Local paper that covers the Jets) says today the Jets have agreed to trade him to the Falcons for the 15th pick, but it can't be done until the new CBA.

Wow that would be such a steal for the Jets, I can't believe it.

I say we trade Reggie Howard and a box of Twinkies for Abraham...oh wait, we cut Reggie. :D

that article just seemed like pure speculation.

Taking Mangold at 15 like that article suggests would be more than a reach. Mangold is a second rounder, not a 15 in this deep draft.

But not when your desperate for a center.

The Jets are desperate for alot more things than just a center. In a draft like this the Jets are better off going by player ability than reaching for a center a round early. Centers rarely go first round, and mangold is not a good enough prospect to be an exception, at least not at 15.

I agree, I like Mangold but not that much.
