Just read that the Jets have traded for Ramsey. I hope they don't get anyone else so they can stay at 1-15 next year.

ramsey has a strong arm. ive seen his entire career. almost every snap. he can play. but he is soft, and doesnt like contact (thank spurrier for that).

but he does have a gun, and he still has potential, because i believe the dude is just 25..or 26..

anyway, i do hope he sucks and the jets fall flat on they face, but somehow maybe feel sympathy for him abit to succeed...just not in new york...

he really never got a chance here in DC..
 
I don't like this. I was banking on them drafting a QB, leaving more talent for our desired positions at the draft...not to mention the QB back-up pool is one less now.:mad:
 
yay jets! a loser with a detatched arm, that hasnt played an entire season in his career, an unproven thats afraid to get touched in the most physical game on earth next to rugby. id say they are going places, as always!
 
I think thats a pretty good trade for the jets. I Think Ramsey still has some potential. I dont think ramsey is gonna be the jets savior or anything, but he could be a solid backup and step in when the jets need him.
 
we actually traded the 6th round pick so they would take feely off our hands. cleo was a throw in.

That logic is flawed. If that were the case, Miami would have just cut A.J.

If we did that, we would have had to pay him....that's the point. They took him and his contract.
 
We should trust Saban. He hates giving way draft picks. for them to give a 6th, they must of seen something. SD coach was furious they gave away Lemon for a 6th.

The asking price for Ramsey was higher last year. DC refsued the offer of a 1st for Ramsey a year or 2 ago.- Jets got a great deal

#3-Lemon has been with us since Oct, learning the playbook, our receivers and the Saban way for half a year. Much better than coming in April 2006.


#4: We have not been very active looking for another bacup QB. the staff( the only one's who can accurately judge Cleo's talent and development) seemingly have no desire to find another backup QB. They must like what they see.

-there was no financial gain in trading AJ over cutting him. he was just minimal trade value and someone we were going to cut.

Ramsey is better than Feeley too.
