Jets tried to trade up for Tunsil

Glad they didn't, but I wasn't happy when they drafted Lee. Didn't mind seeing Buffalo draft Lawson, who should be no issue for James, Albert, or Tunsil, but Lee is going to be a stud in Todd Bowles D. Lee will be like a better, more athletic version of Daryl Washington.
 
I'm sure there were quite a few teams, that were right behind us, that had their fingers crossed he would drop to them.
 
Congrats guys, can't believe that bum Tannenbaum could make such a move :D

That was all luck, Grier and Gase. Tannenbaum was to busy on the phones trying to trade up :lol:
 
Honestly, the Ravens did the right thing taking the equally talented Ronnie Stanley. If you think any team whiffed the only argument would be the Titans. Considering the pboto/video means Tunsil is going to be heavily scrutinized by "random" testing, and the injury, discipline and decision making issues Tunsil has ... even the Titans decision is understandable.

I just hope he isn't Dion Jordan's 2.0. Fingers crossed we get the talent without the baggage.

It was luck but even you can admit this board was in full panic mode at the thought of Tannenbaum moving up to 3 for Zeke.

As I've said all along, Tannenbaum worked well with Mangini. He was bad with Rex. Word is Gase wanted Tunsil and though it's only one pick, obviously Tannebaum/Gase is starting off in the MT/Mangini mold.

Absolutely. I was scared we'd move up for zeke too. Listen, I'm ecstatic we got tunsil and it was a miracle he got to us but with apple and Hargreaves going before 13, we were a hair away from holding our dick in our hand at 13. But I'll take it and run. Let's hope we get the same fortunes in round 2 and up

I'm picturing Gase talking to tunsil while they're are on the clock and tbaum on the other line trying to trade up with nobody. Grier looking at gase like "wtf is he doing??" Gase shrugs his shoulders and laughs it off like "**** if I know man, dude is stupid."

Luck sure but Miami could've passed on him as well and drafted someone else. It took balls to draft him after the drop (no pun intended).
