Wanna talk about a fluke win. They only beat the titans cause of 2 fumbled punts and they lost to buffalo at home. LOL

And fat boy ryan and that fool bart scott are still talking

SWEEP!!!!

The Jets are a good team. You take away their two losses to Miami, and you have a fluke loss to Buffalo (they hadn't emotionally recovered from their loss to us), and a loss to the Saints.

A good team usually wins the games it's supposed to win. The Jets haven't done that thus far. We have.

The Jets may be a "good team" (although i have trouble even believing that) but they are clearly not as good as the Dolphins.

I'm agree that had they played Atlanta, Indianapolis and San Diego they wouldn't have gotten out to their fraudulent 3-0 start. But it's good that they did because it set the Jets fans expectations high enough that their inevitable failure should be pretty funny.

If they're a good team, we're a better one. If as you read on their boards, they lost to an inferior team, looking at the specifics, from the perspective of hindsight and time, by every bottom-line measurement, they're worse!

Over on their boards they're saying they're the superior team even though we've beat them 2X this season and 3X in a row. Their common observation is that "4 wins > 3 wins"

My first reaction was that: "8 games > 7 games." But then I started thinking about the specifics of their 4 wins vs our 3 wins and that's where I think they may be, if not right, then not exactly wrong either.

They definitely get props for squeaking by NE, even if it was the 2nd game of the year and a shaky Brady was still a few games from actually getting back to being "Brady." So while a win is a win, I don't think even their biggest homer can deny that the Patriots team they beat is nothing close to the one we'll be facing next.

Okay, I'll grant that they beat Houston, who's now playing well, but lost to the Jest in the middle of a 2-3 season opening run including a win over the Titans, before they found their sea legs. But really, the other 2 wins they're hanging their hats on are against a combined 3-13 Oakland and Tennessee!

Now we hung with the 2 best teams in the NFL, including the one we both faced, the Saints putting 34 points up on them when the Jest, still full of themselves and talking Superbowl at 3-0 could only manage 14 offensive points.

Hey, if they want to criticize the quality of our wins, that's where their argument might gain some traction. We did beat the 3-5 Buffalo..but wait! They lost to that same team, even after cheap-shotting Edwards out of the game.

Who else did we beat? Oh yeah, the Jest twice. The same Jest who have 2 wins that some may consider legitimate, since a win is a win, but against teams they caught in the middle of slow starts before finding their rhythm.

Who could say they'd have beaten them this upcoming week.

So bottom line: if we beat 3 crappy teams , maybe we deserve to be under 500 on 7 games, so they may be right.

But really, in perspective to the quality of competition, if that's the case, it only can say even less about how awful the Jest are over 8 games
!

We have a rookie HC and rookie QB. if Rex wasn't a loudmouth everyone would be throwing bouquets our way for being 4-4.

And Bart Scott in there. At least Pace walked the walk yesterday.

Well if that's the case than you've beat the bills and a team you think should be 0-7 so far, and lost the rest. Congrats.

Good teams find a way to win - and then they grow to expect wins -

I wasn't dispapointed that Sanchez could not fully exploit our three rooks in the secondary because I knew he would have all day to throw and for the most part he did...

This tells me somethings..., he is good as a rook but your rooks are only going to get better too..., I would have thought B Edwards being a no#1 and all would have schooled the entire secondary...

I would have thought that they would go pass pass pass all day long with the occasional draw..., and they didn't... , they really started to pass in the second half when they figured out we had three rooks back there and G.Wilson and were unable to put together the win...

Best opportunity ever for Sanchize to get a win VS the Fins - and they can dwell on that all year..., those losses cost them the POs..., we are still a 500. team in my opinion but not PO calibre..., we'll see but we have serious gaps in the D...

So by my score-sheet Sanchez 0 & Henne +2

And we have yet to see Mark play in the snow and inclement weather - oh joy...

BTW loved the spike between the legs... that was nice...

Why??? You guys had a much better record at this point last yr. Nobody gets bouquets at 4-4 unless you're Detroit or St. Louis.

well you know what bad teams do. THey come out hot and falter down the stretch. Remember the bill were 3-0 last season the fell apart. Bret farves jets opeaned up great the fell down at the end. New moves and personel groupings work untill theres film on you.

I'm not saying we're not better. We beat them twice. We should have beat the Colts and the Saints - two of the best teams in the league. We're far from perfect, but I don't think there are many teams who take us lightly.

The AFC East has three good teams - as I see it. I don't see any of the three teams as elite, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the Pats emerge as an elite team. I don't know. I feel better about beating a good team than a team that should be 0-7. Maybe I'm weird.

lol another dumb Dolphins fan. First off we didn't only beat the Titans because of 2 fumbled punts, there was 1 fumbled punt. The other was a FF on KO.
Next we would not be 0-7 with your schedule, that has to be the dumbest thing I ever heard... Dolphins are NOT a better team than the Jets, they got lucky yesterday. "Dolphins only won because of 2 KR and a fumble return for a TD"
