Jimmy Johnson jumps on the bash Saban wagon

Good find, 013!

On a side note from the article:

Johnson said the Dolphins' problems are demonstrated by the fact the only two Pro Bowl players -- Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor -- ''are guys I drafted,'' in 1996 and 1997, respectively.

While I do look for a few of Saban's guys reaching the Pro Bowl, I see JJ's accusation as more of a slam against Wanny and his crew.

JJ had a great eye for talent and the draft. I wonder if he's be willing to come back in some capacity to help rebuild the team's personnel

It sure seemed that way to me too, bro. Maybe he is lobbying for a job

I heard last offseason he was too happy relaxing in Florida with his family and boat. I'd support him in an advisory capacity - a search committee, if you will, in the search for the next coach.

Exactly what I was thinking :)

I know he is content to fish and take care of his hair but I'd dearly love to see him, Shula and Marino in some advisory capacity to help restore this team to greatness.

take care of his hair

:sidelol:

I love this plan. The 3 working together towards that goal would be awesome.

I wouldn't support that POS for anything Dolphin...how quickly you forget he quit us TWICE and his legacy was 62-3....

Morning Marty. Ouch - I saw that game a couple days ago. Still hurts to this day.

You know you're a serious jerk when JJ, of all people, says that you're arrogant.

I say put Jimmy and Nick in a steel-cage full of weapons and let them fight to the death. Reward the winner with a one way, non refundable, non exchangeable ticket to the Siberian wastelands...

really?? Wanny was inept, not a scumbag, I don't think he deserves to be aligned with satan and buttercup

He doesn't, unless you're comparing the overall success of their stays here. I could tolerate a jackass coach if they were successful and their methods won games. Neither of them were worth it in the end IMO, but truthfully, I miss the fact that Wanny actually tried, as opposed to Saban just using us to set up his next job.
