I use to like seeing 27 out there making plays on 3rd downs but now I get sick to my stomach when he's in coverage! Very obvious we need to address the corner position in the draft unless we feel Taylor is the man opposite Grimes but the depth is concerning to say the least.
 
Definitely, wilson is a liability right now but we have to go with him unfortunately.
 
Jimmy Wilson is one of the most annoying players I have watched in a long time. He tries to be the macho athlete and talk **** and take cheap shots. Instead, he gets lit up play after play. Maybe if he just shut the hell up and made plays and didn't have his own insecurity exposed through his cheap shots and trash talk he wouldn't suck so much.
 
I would be happy if he stops the BS and just starts playing. I'm sick of the stupid penalties by him. However, it seems after every play someone is standing up pounding their chest or doing some stupid moves. Its starting to make the game unwatchable as much as all the stupid flags the refs throw.

Sounds like Sean Smith when he was here. Pounding his chest when a pass to his receiver went incomplete because it sailed 20 yards out of bounds, like he did something
 
It is popular to hate on Jimmy here at Finheaven. But what people don't see is Jimmy's great strength at reading the Offense and marshalling the DB's into position. It didn't work out too well last week in Denver after Jamar Taylor got hurt and even before then, Peyton Manning and Demaryius Thomas are not easy to stop. The fact is that we are running desperately thin at DB with the absence of Mike Thomas, Cortland Finnegan, Will Davis and now Jamar Taylor. The offseason decision not to offer a contract to Nolan Carroll isn't looking so smart when we are just left with Jimmy and Walt Aikens to join Grimes after swooping on Don Jones midweek.
You can hate on Jimmy all you like, but we are going to depend on him and he will be giving his all for the team, like he does every week. Good luck Jimmy for a big one - we need it.

Jimmy Wilson is more of a strong safety than anything else. He doesn't have the speed, coverage or athletic ability you need at CB.

And Jimmy is usually good for a couple costly penalties every game besides getting lit up like a Christmas Tree.
 
Apart from being a reliable goat for first downs by the opposing offense, and the stupid penalties, he is invisible on the field.
 
jamar taylor is the future at cornerback. we need a new nickel corner to send jimmy wilson to the bench (or free agency). i have nothing against him, i just think he is average at best - and we need to do better.
 
The day Wilson is off the Dolphins won't be a sad day for me. Dude is just good enough physically, and a mediocre effort guy. If he just gave 10% more effort he'd be a real solid player.
 
FWIW, Wilson's 3 penalties last week were the first and only called on him all year. He is a good slot cover, ranked #7 last year, and the same this year, when he covered the slot. Problem is that with the suspension to Jones, he was forced to starting safety, which he is not, and with the injuries at CB, he was forced to play starting CB, which he is not.
 
I've said it for years, "The only thing this guy is good at is blitzing..."
 
Jimmy Wilson still on this team shows why Coyle is another Sherman, and needs to be let go.. as with Lazor, don't let Philbin hire; he picks his friends, and they're not worthy
