My take is... Clemons is the only safety on this team that i know is decent other then Culver, and to me Culver is just a decent backup, and Clemons can't seem to say healthy or catch a ball. So it's good to see them giving a guy like Wilson a chance.

You may be right but I'm genuinely surprised that you see Clemons as head and shoulders ahead of Wilson. It's good to see competition for the position. I wouldn't be shocked if we ended up recruiting another safety who gets released from another team.

I'm not saying Wilson won't take the starting spot off Clemons at some point, but there's a lot of fan goodwill towards Wilson that isn't so far being reflected on the field, as far as I can tell. He's the Tebow of our secondary!! (Tebow would probably spontaneously self-combust being compared to a guy who was in prison for murder)
