Here it is ladies and gents. Direct from the deranged mind of BSQ. Jimmy Johnson takes the GM job for the Dolphins in a package scenario that saves the day for his buddy Wannstedt. Norv and Bates stay on as well. Jimmys' first pick, Phillip Rivers!!!

I hated jimmy when he was coaching here, he was abolutly horrbile cause his ego was too big, he couldnt life with the fact that not matter how big his name is how many super bowls he could have won that he would NEVER be bigger than Dan Marino, so he screwed marino instead, taking the best quarterback at reading defenses abilty to audible away, as he coach he sucked, but..... i wouldnt mind having him as a GM, casue as much as i hated him he is one of the BEST at drafting players, look at madison, surtain, thomas, taylor, all of them were 3 round or lower, he has a knack for that and i would like to see him as GM but still wanny needs to go

While that is true, we need more offense than anything. We dont have any starters on offense since the JJ era(besides maybe Mark Dixon, whose been injured).

If this is true... why did Wayne H. meet with Dan Marino?? QB coach??

He met with Marino and many other people outside the organization for their opinions and insights. Just because a person meets with someone doesn't mean they have to hire them. I don't think Marino would come back only as a QB coach, especially if the man that ran him out of town was still his 'boss'. Marino would probably end up smacking Wanny sometime next season...not that that would be a bad thing or anything.

Celebrity Boxing, we've had Danny vs Greg, we've had Tanya Harding vs Joey Baby, we've had Bol vs The Refrigerator...

Next season we'll have Danny "Golden Boy" Marino vs Dave "Porn Star Moustache" Wadnstedt...

$50 buck on Mr Marino to win in 3 rounds....

3 rounds? You're being gererous to Wanny. All Dan has to do is avoid hitting Wanny in the 'stache where he has padding. Go with the upper forehead: with all the times that the idiot has run his hands through his hair, I'm sure he's pretty bald at the top.

Huizenga has said that the outcome of Sunday's game against the Jets will have no bearing on his decsion. Whether Wannstedt will be fired or not won't be known until then, but some type of change will be coming. If everything was to remain status quo, there would be no need for any type of announcement.

One rumor making the rounds lately has the Dolphins retaining Wannstedt as the head coach, but taking away his power over personnel decisions and hiring a general manager. Wannstedt did state that he would agree to give up the personnel powers if it means he's still the coach.

No way does JJ come back. Shula and JJ do not get along with each other and I think Shula will have a big influence in he decision making on a new GM and coach.

where was the influence that gave JJ his HC job? yeah... no where to be found.

i already posted something similar to this. JJ will be the new GM.

A). helps his best friend DW

B). doesn't have the stress of being HC

C). in florida where he lives and loves.

I think Huizenga will bring in a GM to raze the coaching staff and hire a new coach with a different system.

He has to do this because of Miami's tradition- a tradition of greatness that up to the last few years has been looked up to by other organizations in the league. Huizenga has to see the steady decline, the purvayance of mediocrity that has infested itself through the coaches, and into the players and their ho-hum attitude. We fans have been fed an unhealthy diet of unwarranted expectations, and promises of "great things"... well my fellow dolphans- it is time for Huizenga to rid himself of the albatross he donned when Shula was retired. The System's faith in a "play not to lose", "win with Defense", "playing Field Position" strategy must be eliminated, and the only way to do that is to remove all of it's adherents.

Maybe he won't. He sure loves stability. But a bold move would demand that the players question their raison d'etre. And would pacify the fans of their malcontent.

Influence that gave that quiter "Shula's" job? You know what? I'd be willing to bet that Shula gave the Quiter his blessings to Wayne! Only to get stabbed in the back!

But Shula has brought more to this organization on his pinky finger than Jimmy (I want to announce that I'm quiting on Miami for the second time) Johnson ever has or could!

hey don't yell at me... i love Shula. but as far as having all this influence, i doubt it.

WH is a business man first... he'll hire a mime as our HC if it meant more $ for him.
