He's not a Dolphin. But, I'm hoping we can keep this one up for a bit in the more heavily traffic'ed Phins main. Guy was a great damn American and played with his heart. He's helped out numerous people in need. He is a shining example of what a professional athlete should be.

Remember when his heart stopped and he played three days later?

They probably just called him a warrior and selfless teammate.

Interested to see if he gets into the hall of fame. 3 dpoy is crazy but only 111 sacks in 12 years. There’s about 12 guys around 130 that aren’t in. In comparison Wake had 100 in 9 years and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t stand a chance to get in.

Lol. Only 111 sacks. I mean, I get what you're saying but how crazy is it that someone with that many sacks doesn't get in? You know JJ will be first ballot though.

Three defensive player of the year awards in his first five years is pretty incredible. Shame he became injury prone after that. Hell of a player

The afternoon dolphins radio after the joe rose show today said "that's ok there's plenty more watts in the light bulb to continue". I thought that was pretty funny

I mean I’d imagine with 3 dpoy with only Donald and LT to have 3. Just I think you need longevity to be truly great. He had 4 great years and 2 good ones other than that was injury filled with lack of playoffs. You got guys like Demarcus Ware and Suggs at 139, Jared Allen at 136, Dwight Feeney at 125 and Von Miller still playing at 124 and those are just the guys that have pretty good resumes as well also guys like John Abraham with 133 not in, Leslie O’Neal at 132 all not in
