not everyone will be happy. we could hire don shula and someone would be pissed. im not down on ireland like alot of people except his fa record (please keep reading after that comment) , i like his last draft. but ross is a complete joke. i think if we land philbin or zimmer we will be fine. tony wasnt respected in the locker room. philbin and zimmer are player coaches, but also require discepline. im optimistic. they are taking along time, which means they are waiting on someone who is staffed on a team still in the playoffs, or maybe waiting on philbin, or just doing their due diligence.
i dont think mccoy would be a good idea. we need someone the players want to play for. and i think the answer is philbin or zimmer. although i dont like the idea of switching to a 4-3 with zimmer.
