I don't know about happy...but all things considered it's not far from where I pegged us to finish before the season started....

No he didn't, he was focused on finishing out winning 6 straight and was pissed we lost Sunday. he didn't realize we still had a shot b/c there aren'y any really good teams fighting for the WC.

I expected 6-7 wins coming into the season, we have 7 and could get more. I'm pissed we blew a few games but I'm happy overall w/ this season.
 
Both teams have rookie QB's who have lost their share of games because of turnovers. Both teams have holes to fill on offense. Both teams are mediocre. There is always next year!

I was pissed this week but when you step back and look at where we are as a franchisse I'm pleased and we lost our most important offensive and defensive players and still are 7-7 so I'm excited about the next few years as you guys should be. I think we will be battling for div titles.

Look around FinHeaven man. No one is happy to be 7 - 7. Not even the Raiders are happy with 7 - 7. But fans are delusional to the point of retardation. You might be pissed but you're pissed because your expectations were too high just like many of our fans had too high of expectations.

Now, if everyone would have listened to me at the beginning of the season when I said BOTH teams are 8 - 8 and 9 - 7 at best, we'd all be fairly pleased. A .500 record for both teams was soooooooo easy to see. Dolphin fans who thought we were going to repeat what we did last year or even win MORE just didn't get it. And you Jet fans with your rookie QB and your rookie head coach really "expected" to win big this season.

But the "You guys are happy at 7 - 7, we are pissed" argument is just another New York Jet moral victory for the fan.

Half joking maybe lol. You spend time on GangGreen. You know you have some delusional booger eaters (and God knows we have them here too) over there who thought the Jets were winning 13 games this season.

I wish I would have saved that predictions thread when I was BLASTED for calling this team an 8 - 8 squad and how ridiculous the SAME people sounded trying to justify their claims for 12 - 14 wins for the Dolphins.

If Pennington was still the starter I would be dissapointed

but yea 7 and 7 is pretty good with the key injuries we have had..

Plus i am happy about the sweeepppppppp..

And a win over the Pats..

I am also disgusted abou the loss to the Bills

The Jets were supposed to be legitimate contenders, whereas most experts thought the Dolphins were a fluke last year (which they were to a certain degree).

What a tool, the defense may have "choked", but they gave up 10 ****ing points. If the Jets didn't have some of the worst QB play in the NFL, they would be a playoff team.
