Can anyone give me any info on Joe Carter?Looking at his numbers he looked like he might have been a good rb for us.He avg 5 yards a carry for his career but he only had 118 carries. He only played 3 years in the league.I was wondering if anyone could tell me why?Did he get hurt or get banned from the league?

Man, when I read the title I thought it was about the baseball player "Joe Carter".

He was a nice little running back, but from what I recall he was a bit undersized and I think he drove Shula nuts by fumbling.

Thanks for the info

That was a hell of a walk off home run against the Phillies. Oh wait, sorry, wrong guy? Then my apologies. I have nothing more to say to you except, good day sir! lol

Was against the braves but anyway............dont remeber the football version on the phins.

Nothing really special...just another RB who couldn't hold onto the ball well enough...showed a few flashes, but couldn't play any special teams and was cut...

Actually, was against the Phillies and Closer Mitch Williams. Was 1993, and agree, I don't remember the football player..

Carter had some big-play ability. But like many others have mentioned, he had trouble holding onto the ball. Still, I would have liked to see him (or guys like him) get more of a chance. Sure, he was a bit of a change-of-pace back, but that kind of runner should have excelled in an offense with Marino throwing the ball. Same thing with Troy Stardford.

Yep ... vs. the Phillies ... never forgave him for that.

Correct.....Toronto beat Atlanta the previous year.
