What do you guys think of Joe Cohen future NT hes got decent size
6'2 315 and good speed.

He could be. He was a 4th rounder. Maybe a year on the practice squad got him back to NFL competiotion level. J Ferg said he's hungry and he likes that about him.

I know this sounds a little silly due to him being a massive human being, but he seems to be a little small for a true franchise 3-4 NT.

Not really, 6'2 is perfect height . . and he may not be 325+, but if he has the strength, he will be fine.

Solid Size.

Yeah the "prototype" NT may be bigger but i would rather have a shorter one cause on the line LOW MAN WINS and is he is 6-2 he can use leverage and drive to disrupt the backfield. Man with all these guys on the team who could fill our NT need i dont know if we draft one unless one just totally falls in our lap in an ideal position.

i think Cohen is 320+ now. hes a prospect, he has the size and strength, but i wouldnt expect anything out of him.

Cohen measured 6'2 1/2" 315 at the scouting combine in 2007. He bench pressed 225 pounds 34 times and ran a 5.1 in the 40 yard dash. He had an 8 foot 8 inch broad jump, a 31 inch vertical jump and 9 3/4" hands. It is said that he could play strongside defensive end on running downs. He has long arms for his height also.

I definitely think it's possible. He could at the very least be a great part of our rotation. Soliai has really impressed me in his limited playing time this year and I think, if he can stay out of trouble, he may be our answer. Keep in mind, Parcells typically drafts someone late (Ferguson, Jay Ratliff) and lets them develop into a great NT. That's probably why they extended Ferguson for two years. He already has someone here with crazy physical atributes but is somewhat immature (Soliai) and another prospect who we haven't seen a lot from (Cohen). It is entirely possible that we already have our future at NT.

That's good. He should be able to gain another 10-15 lbs. Weight is easier to gain than height!
