If we pass on Matt Ryan, which I think we will, should we take a chance on grabbing Joe Flacco with our 32nd pick? I know we used a 2nd round pick on Beck last year, and we also brought in McCown, but neither of these guys has the rocket arm that Flacco has. Before you say anything, take a look at these video clips and check out his arm and mobility.

With all our needs I think we should draft a qb a little later. Flacco doesn't make us a better team next year!

He's a project player.

It all depends who drops to 32.

If something miraculous happens like Rogers-Cromartie , Groves, or Albert etc make it to 32, you HAVE to pick those guys over Flacco (who's a long term project) IMO

It depends on what we do #1 imo. If we go Chris Long or Vernon Gholsten at #1, then I kinda hope they go with an offensive lineman at #32, then maybe grab Henne at #57 if he is still there. If we go Jake Long #1, then I am all for Flacco at #32.

He has a larger upside than Beck...will ever have...plus he's younger.

I didn't say I didn't like the guy. I just don't think it makes sense. He does have a great potential upside. The question is will it ever be realized?

We have to many other immediate needs to draft at #32!

If were going with J Long at LT lets get a solid RT as well and move carey to LG.

That way we could be solid along the o-line. Which if get a good pass catching TE we might have the WR's to give Beck the best chance to prove himself and get this offense going.

I don't think Flacco is worth the 32nd pick. Nor do I think QB is a good position to take at 32. Maybe if Brohm slips that far, maybe, but I think I'd rather not take a QB with our first two picks.

This guy may have all the tools but is very unpolished it will be a big mistake especialy with the shape of the team right now. I need a polished guy right now if we get a QB like the QB from Stanford that Buffallo took last year.

If Joe Flacco were 6'2" instead of '6'6", he'd be a 5th round pick.

Yeah hes got cannon however so did A.J. Feeley and Kyle Boller.

Huge project, huge potential, and not worth the 32nd pick.

I agree with Nubs here

?Carey is a solid right tackle, why would you move him to guard? He may even be a solid left tackle...
