Joe optimistic about season

My takeaways:

1. I still don't trust Philbin.

2. Florio's a f***ing 2 year old.

Like a child, Mike Florio felt the need to fire back at Philbin for not agreeing with his ranking.

I responded by saying the below statement on PFT. He will probably delete it because he doesn't like to be called an idiot on his once own site. He done it to me many times.

The logic of this article is more than lacking. It seems as though someone is trying to convince themselves as well as the rest of the people who frequent this site that they are not idiots by picking a near playoff team with basically the same people, arguably better o-line by just not having Martin and Cogs on the team, not to mention the best FA LT on the market. Third year QB, who by the way threw for almost 4,000 yards behind that terrible line. Everyone knows if they are successful these writers won’t, will not say that they were wrong. They leave themselves “outs” in their statements so they can say they were partially right. Boy! What a job.

Floree I ee I oh: a failed ambulance chaser who turned his fanboi-ism into a malicious unconfirmed gossip site who then despite himself managed to step in $hit with NBC. Now he's a failed lawyer who's the equivalent of a basement blogger. **** that sockcucker

Right. But Joe is insinuating that he knows his own locker room, which last year was proved to be incorrect. He had no clue what was going on in his own locker room.

So why do you think he knows his locker room now?

Bill Belichick didn't know he had a mass murderer right under his nose. Jim Harbaugh didn't know Aldon Smith was up to no good in his personal life. Maybe not knowing what these grown men are up to every second of every day is the norm rather than the exception?

Yep they deleted it.

Philbin thinks the team needs to be more transparent. I'd settle for just winning football games.

I think it's true that Philbin will get a lot of mileage out of low rankings with the players so this is good in that way. Honestly I think Bullygate cost this organization a lot of respect, which cost us in some of the rankings.

Me too yet many still rag on him for not being transparent enough. I even recall people complaining that he didn't hold a special press conference to tell us about his adult son being charged with leaving the scene of an accident. Others prefer he go above and beyond league rules and just completely spill the beans on injuries and such, who cares if it puts us an a competitive disadvantage, the fans can't wait another day or two, WE NEED TO KNOW NOW!!!

That's interesting, so Hernandez was murdering people in the locker room? Aldon Smith was driving drunk inside the locker room? Oh, they weren't? So it wasn't a situation that was happening RIGHT UNDER THE COACH'S NOSE, like say... Bullygate?

Incognito left a bad message on Jonathan Martin's answering machine in the locker room? That sounds like a strange place to keep an answering machine.

Philbin dropped 'deez nuts in PFT's mouth! He said, "...you don't know these guys!" Joe knows these guys.

WTF did I just say? I have no idea but it sounds bad toward PFT.
Yep, and it's kinda funny him of all people saying someone doesn't know them. Isn't that exactly what he was saying about himself and the OL? He didn't know them well enough to even know there was a war going on in his own locker room?? Maybe Joe is the one who doesn't know these guys.
