Joe Philbin: Kevin Coyle is the defensive coordinator

Posted in the other 'Fire Philbin' threads but yea.
 
Philbin keeps saying be will look at the tape to fix things. I see the same problems and same formations. So what exactly have they changed?

When do you they play a fullback maybe? When do they play an extra TE? When will the playcalling change to avoid 2nd and long? When will the LB's be able to plug the gaps?

only posted that because this came directly out of Philbin's mouth after another bad loss.

Of course he is going to say that just like sticking by a player that struggles. It's up to 'other people' to make certain choices.

hahaha yes, i love his "Gonna have to look at the tape" line, its great. Looking at the tape does no good, he still doesnt know what hes looking at.

You would think Joe would have an answer for this debacle somewhere in the beautiful notebook he brought to the interview...but hes just a clueless moron. Hes not gonna see what needs to be seen when he looks at that tape, which is that his team sucks because hes a terrible coach. Hes a pansy and the team is soft as baby ****. His zone blocking scheme sucks. Try running the ball more than 11 times in a game, hasnt he ever heard that running the ball opens up the pass? He talks about balance and there is none. He is such a great evaluator of talent that hes getting our QB killed because he believes in Dallas Thomas and the other turds on the line. He is a terrible coach, i gave this guy the benefit of the doubt because we still had the stench of Ireland in the building and all but this is year 4 and he is severely holding this team back...on paper we have the most talented roster we can remember yet on the field it may very well be the worst team ive seen play in all my years of being a fan.

Horizontal passing all day long. Oh my god I'd rather shoot myself than watch play design after design of these behind the line passes. Every time we go vertical and with tempo we have good results. Why is that not our MO all the time? God fire them all.

Exactly, whatd be really effed up is "its coyles fault". Just standard postgame garbage. Someone will be gone by tomorrow...dont really care who at this point.
