On my way to work this morning, I heard him say that Saban had a meeting with the media yesterday and stated that Terrel Owens WAS NEVER IN DOLPHIN CAMP. So all the rumors about him meeting with TO were false. Maybe TO was in Miami, but never met with any Dolphins. Said he'd deal with any FA when trading and FA begins. He also said that GUS FRERROTTE IS THE STARTING QUARTERBACK OF THE MIAMI DOLPHINS. Doesn't plan to move Gus out of here. So yall keep on with your conspiracy theories. These are facts from the coach himself.
 
That's what I heard. But, Saban's like the ultimate poker player. He won't give you anything.
 
Yea, he may have said that Gus is the starting QB but that is as of today. Doesn't guarantee that he will be the starting QB tommorrow or when the season starts.
 
If you dont think Gus is gonna be starting on opening day, you're living in a fantasy land..You're fooling yourself. You think Saban's gonna draft a rookie and just throw him in with no experience and barely knowing the playbook?? Or do you actually believe all the hype about Saban bringin in a veteran? We're gonna draft a nice QB, but he ain't playing this year!

Well Rose also said 2 minutes ago that Owens really wants to play for Miami and it should be interesting to see how it all plays out! So shhhhhhhhhhhhh! :sidelol:

Yes, and you know what all this stuff said by Saban means......... NOTHING!!! We all know Saban will bend the truth, oops I mean LIE to keep what he's doing secrete. Not saying that you are wrong, and that all of the rumours are true, but a statement by Saban means squat, and I love it

Finally a voice of reason. The guy has showed he can do the job, especially at the end of the season. It was his first year starting so nobody should have expected too much.

Ive been on the Croyle bandwagon for quite some time, but Im starting to like the whitehurst option as well. Whatever Saban does I will support.

One thing is for sure, we all have a lot to be excited about next season....isnt it great.

You're the one who doesn't know. Saban would be the best hold em poker player on tour. He knows what the plan is no one else. Even our so called experts on this site don't have a clue. All hail the Sabanator!:rawk:

Maybe they met outside of camp...maybe for a nice romantic dinner on the beach? yeah... think about it...
 
I think being on 790 has poisoned Joe Rose to the point where he's going to resort to being lazy and putting Terrell Owen's name out there to do a show.
 
terrel doesn't forget those who he percieves as doing him wrong. Joe would never get an interview if he took him to task.
