It is reported that the Packers have signed free agent Joe Toledo.

Reading his history with the Dolphins he didn't play much.

Could someone give me an account of his time with the Dolphins and why he didn't play??

It sounds like he had a couple of serious injuries.

That's pretty much it. He was hurt his entire time with the team.

He's made of glass.

Physically gifted, not amazingly but definitely has skill. The wind blows and he gets hurt though.

Toledo is INCREDIBLY fragile. He was a sleeper in the draft the year he came out because of his size and quick feet. He was a former tightend and was transferred over to tackle and then to guard when we drafted him. He has great skills but is raw as an olineman. He doesnt have a true NFL position because he hasn't been healthy long enough for a team to establish him at one spot.

He fractured his wrist signing the contract. He's just been placed on IR.

He has been injured every year in college and the pros. He is a combine superstar. Put him in shorts and he is an all pro, put him in pads and you will be carrying him off the field. Did not play in one game for the dolphins, was on IR both years. Good Luck you will need it.

Given how life seems to work for the Dolphins and their fans, Joe Toledo will never get hurt as a Packer and make the pro bowl in a few years.

And just when we all thought he was going to be ready for this last season I'm pretty sure he broke his foot getting out the whirlpool......look it up.
