It don't matter how much talent and potential you got, if you can't stay healthy, you get cut.

Unfortunately I have a feeling that Drew Mormino = Joe Toledo = Will Poole

You're absolutely right. However, I can't be the only one that's frustrated by seeing young guys like Toledo and Alabi getting cut. I say this, because it's just another two draft picks straight down the toilet. I mean, this is ridiculous!

Simply bad luck for the team and these players. :(

The only good thing about these two guys is they were 2nd day picks. Late picks are a gamble.

At least they weren't 1st round picks like Jason Allen who cost alot of money and are expected to play right away.

Will Poole was better then Toledo. At least Poole got on the field and was able to show his talent. It was a short period, but Toledo never even touched the field.

to compare Toledo to a player that actually did something in a real game is an insult. I have said from the beginning that Toledo was an awful pick and unfortunately I was right. This report that Parcells was infatuated with him also must be bunk since when he had the chance he cut him.

Watch them be amazing after New England signs them... Seems to be the theme with us.

Freak injuries or not...I think Ronnie B,(whom I think is a great RB) needs to show,
that he can be on the field for a whole year at some point in his career.

It was about time Toledo was cut this guy made money doing absolutely nothing I dont know how he wasnt cut long time ago

Joe Toledo has a lot of talent actually, and I was/am hoping against hope that he gets healthy, stays healthy, and can stick with us. The only reasons he was available when we picked him was that 1) he's injury prone and 2) he's a former TE who is still a bit raw at the position. But, he's really taken to it and has very good physical ability with spotty technique.

I too think that Parcells will cut him and Yeremiah Bell because they're injury prone, but to be honest, Toledo probably has at least as much ability on the O Line as Bell does at Safety. I'd hate to give away talent like that for free, and Toledo would be signing somewhere very cheap ... my guess would be New England where he'd probably instantly start and become a star. Their line is a finesse line now, but Toledo would be a cornerstone run blocker for them.

Some guys are just injury prone ... and it does look like Toledo is one of 'em unfortunately. :( Parcells is right, you can't build a team with players who are injury prone ... I just keep hoping Toledo can get and stay healthy.
