I could see Joey signing a cheap one or two year deal with Miami if he has no chance of starting elsewhere. You have to figure he'd get the shot ahead of Cleo to start if Pepper isn't ready, and that may be all he would need to get people excited about him again.

Why does everybody think we would get McCown, Ramsey or Harrington i mean all these guys are looking to at least compete for a starting job. Culpepper got that title all to himself. They will go places like the Bills, Jets, Raiders, maybe even the Cheifs bc you gotta think that Green is getting old. But im telling you that we are not signing any of those guys. Tommy Maddox is a very ideal player for us.

Tommy Maddox is never an ideal anything.

Why compete with a favored incumbent for a starting job when you are pretty damned sure you're going to get to make at least 4 starts for Miami this year? Rebuilding a career is about getting exposure.

I really do think lemon will end up emerging from camp as our starter pre pepper. I mean with the weapons and Ol we will have really who could not do well after a full camp. Hell Berlin may do well ok a stretch. I do see the mid season qb chart Pepper Lemon Berlin though just because of the offensive system about to be created. We do not need any extra expeditures at this position.....

I would love to get our hands on a ramsey or harrington. Like someone said before me, With all our weapons that might be enough to revitalize thier carrer and draw some interest if someone has a QB go down. Might be good to trade off for a pick in next years draft.
