I will go on record to say Joey Harrington will have his best game of the season against his former team, the Detroit Lions. I truly believe Joey has a chip on his shoulder and is bitter towards some of his old teammates, specifically, Dre Bly.

I believe Dre Bly called Joey out last year blaming the majority of their losses on Harrington. This will be redemption time. Look for players like Dre Bly to be agressive in trying to pick off Harrington's passes, we also may see a couple of late hits on Joey. They're going to bring the house aggressively, just as the Vikings did. They will study last weeks film and try to rattle Joey.

Culpepper got his, and now it's Joey's turn. Hey, our team owes it to Harrington. Despite not playing at an all star level, he has put us through a 3 game winning streak.

I can see all this happening already.

No way we let Joey down. Bring on the Lions!!!

I also believe Joey will have his best game of the season on Thanksgiving. Hopefully Ronnie is feeling a little better by then to help him out.

Dre Bly called him out, then the majority of the other players followed his lead and blamed Harrington. The front office, fans and Detroit players seemed to form a hatred towards him. You bet Harrington has a chip on his shoulder. We owe it to him to support him fully for this game and hope he doesn't take any cheap shots, because I know they are coming.

Joey may have a good game b/c Detroits Defense sux....NOT because hes good. Joey Harrington is probably among the worst starters in the league

this is probably among the worst posts on this site....

Hopefully he will. The team is very banged up and they could use a good offensive performance to help get them through the short week game.

I said it before the Vikings game and for a whole half he seemed almost like he was going to do it....but he's due for a big game. He's having his worst season since 2003. He just was not THIS bad in Detroit, and I think he's due for a good game.

His QB rating is 67.5 for the year so far. He's never even had one above 80 in any single ball game. Four of his six games have been below 70.

That's putrid. He's due for a big game and his old team is as good an opponent as any to have it against.

And the first basher wins the prize

Yes but his rating in the 4th quarter is a 92

and then the haters will still find something to bash him about

Eh he is what he is, I'm just tired of explaining to his lovers what he is. If he has a solid game, there won't be any bashing.

Man Up....

This is definately a "Man Up" situation. Joey knows the team, they know him. If they're right and he's a weakling, then they shut him down, rip him up and send us packing because he's one dimensional and obvious. They saw him every day in practice after all.

If Joey takes them to the cleaners, it's simple. Detroit wasted a talent and getting free from them was the best thing he could ever have done for himself. Turkey day is coming, but only one man or one team will leave the field as one.

some of the questions are already answered up there. joey contributed to the lions sucking but it wasn't his all his fault. dre bly and all the other haters out there are already eating up some of their words. they still suck. and that's with supposedly one of the offensive "gurus," mike martz. i hope joey blows them up. he still looks tentative in the pocket though. he still scares me a little whenever he throws the ball. but hey, the team is winning. i wonder if we'd be better now if he started earlier, or would have it created friction within the team since almost everyone was counting on dc so much? i guess we'll never know. i't just frustrates me that we coulda, woulda, shoulda won more games but we didn't. the friggin patsies are winning without their best receivers and kicker for pete's sake.

QB rating means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING...

and im tired of Daunte lovers talking down to Joey fans as if they dont know squat. Its obvious the to factions want different things out of the QB position. It seems(to me) that Daubte fans want perfection, 400yards,4td 0ints a game from the position. Whereas Joey fans, simply want a QB that can move the ball and win games. However one side feels the need to go out of their way to bash the other and NO MATTER what he does......will never be good enough.

Yes there are exceptions on both side....but thats the way I see it.
