wow...thats all i have to say, if daunte put up the same stats, u guys would be all over his ***

joey is missing open receivers, o-line better pass blocking he is only slightly better than culpepper. and o-line run blocking is non existent. no running back can run with that type of blocking. Dont get me started on mularkey.

there were big plays in the passing game to be had. Harrington couln't put it on the money.

so why is everyone sayin he should start next week? i dont get it, he had a couple nice throws, but other then that, hes the same qb who started for detriot

if daunte put up these same stats their would be daunte sucks and daunte couldnt hit the recievers etc

now with joey it is everyone else's fault

too funny

Guys our ****ing oline has not changed since last game. Guess what Daunte is the problem. Harrington moved this team down the field.

2 missed FGs,
1 botched punt.
1 tipped pass for INT
Ronnie Brown Fumble.
Numerous false starts and offensive line penalties.

You guys are a joke if you think Daunte would have done better.
Culpepper sucks, and kills drives, but everyone here is in love with him for some unknown reason. He hasn't done **** for us this season so why are Dolphins fans all googly eyed for him. It's sick.

Harrington is no Brady but this game is far from his fault.

This thread is exactly what I warned about this week. Harrington getting two days of practice with the first unit and then named the starter against one of the toughest teams on our schedule.

Now the blame will be all thrown on him by the Culpepper jockriders and this one game will trotted out as the excuse to start C-rap the rest of the season, sinking the Fins for good.

Might as well now, though. The season is over today.

I'll take Harrington over Culpepper any day of the week watching the two play. Give him four games like Culpepper got then come talk to me.

It didnt take much to play better than Daunte has been playing.. To me, Joey just "looked" better.. He wasnt holding on to the ball for an eternity, he was making quick reads and mostly good ones.. His 2 INTs are misleading, and he came close to a TD that got called back.. And he did it with no run support and the same crappy OL..

And let's not forget this is the same Patriots team - that is, the same DEFENSE - that absolutely shellacked the Bengals last week!

joey moved the ball numerous times.we shouldve won but we could not capitlize on our oppertunities

The game was winnable, PhinsPhan hit the nail right on the head. Joey threw two INTs (1 of which was really his fault, the other was a fluke), RB had a fumble, Mare shanked two FGs. NE had 17 points off of turnovers. Take away the turnovers and if Mare makes those two FGs, this is a 16-3 Win. Of course, woulda coulda shoulda a lot of things. Harrington got sacked once. The line did no better or no worse than they have this season. He didn't clutch that ball, he threw it. He got the team down the field. If we had an O-Line, he wouldn't have had to throw the ball 41 times because RB would have been able to rush the ball. You just can't give NE a short field, because they capitalize every time. Comparing Culpepper and Harrington's first games is ludicrous: Pittsburgh hasn't won since 1-2, maybe 1-3 later today, and NE is 4-1. Harrington is the starter.
