So? He got 17 sacks, he can say whatever he wants. I don't prefer it, but for the most part, it pumps the guys up around him to do better and live up to what he's saying.
 
Yeah, cuz Randy Moss is so well known for wanting to stick up for fellow players. He's not "me first" guy at all.:rolleyes2:

But he owned Cassel during the first meeting which those comments effected. He delivered with his message that game he never said anything for the second game so you can't blame him for those 48 pts our defense just played like **** but so did theres. Joey is Joey you will never have a team without a mouth you need a guy like that who will defend his team mates even if sometimes it bites him in the ***.
 
I'm soooo tired of people doggin Porter about runnin his mouth. If his teammates dont have a problem and it's not effecting the team, why do people have a problem with him talking? dont give me the "i just like the old school hit em in the mouth, go back to the huddle, and do it again the next play"... what about players like Porter who hit you in the mouth, tell you about it, and do it again the next play anyways. I played the game for 10 years and i wasnt a show boat or a huge talker, but it didnt matter whether teammate or opponent was talkin smack, i loved it. It shows passion and competitiveness. JP.... Keep talkin homie.

BTW.. This isnt in direct response to anybody's post, just in general cuz a lot of people dont like him talkin.

What does the 2nd meeting have to do with his comments before the 1st meeting? The Dolphins were going to face an inexperienced Matt Cassel instead of Tom Brady.

I don't remember Porter talking before the 2nd meeting when Cassel had more game experience. I believe he actually said something like it would be more of a challenge.

I am not a big fan of running your mouth before games, but Porter backed it up in the 1st meeting.
 
I just like the fact that he hates them so much. I sometimes wonder if he signed with us just to get a shot at Brady twice a year. Im not a fan of squeaky's mouth but damn I do admire his hate for the Pats.
