Joey Porter has been in on sacks in four consecutive games, the longest such stretch of his career.
 
A very good career, expecially with Pittsburg I might add. Nice find.

Highly doubtful. Denver came into tonight only allowing two sacks this season, so I would think his streak ends there. But if he stays healthy, he could make a run at a 20-sack season. San Francisco and New England are giving up four sacks a game, while St. Louis and Kansas City are allowing three sacks a game. Buffalo, the Jets, and Oakland have lines that are slightly less porous.

Wow, i had no idea denver was that good at pass protection. Although the 20 sack part sounds good.

I would love to see him get 20 sacks, but I don't know if that is really that realistic. I think a 15-16 sack season is more likely for Porter.

Your 15-16 sack estimate obviously fails to take into account the rematch with New England. Or are you not watching their "pass blocking" tonight? :sidelol:
 
porter is on pace for like 22.....should go nuts against some of these teams we play......I think he'll have at least a sack or half a sack in the denver game but I think as long as he stays healthy nothing is stopping him from getting at least 17-18....and he is currently tied for second and number one is D ware who has played a game more then porter....
 
Porter is finally becoming the player we need. for the first time since he is in a dolphins uniform he is delivering. now we need a few more players to step it up.
 
Im just glad Im done seeing the "why did we sign this old washed up LB" threads.
yes he can still play.
