This guy needs to shut up, he's the most overpaid dolphin that hasn't done didly pooh and he has the nerve to talk. Way to give a guy bulletin board material. Why does him talking bother you so much?? If you don't go in with that confidence and ****iness then what's the point? No, I think it is "YOU" that has to shut up. Joey Porter is our emotional leader and all he is doing is psyching up the team and making a point that "he" is going to step up in this game. How anyone can defend Joey Porter is beyond me. An emotional leader? Give me a break. The guy has been a marginal player at best in his time here. I'm tired of hearing him talk every week, especially when his defense is getting the floor mopped with it. He's over paid, he's over hyped. I never wanted him to begin with and i know i'm not alone there. I can't wait until he leaves.

As they said on NFL Network, he said nothing that isn't the truth, he didn't talk smack or say we're going to win. He said Cassel isn't capable of the play Brady is, which is fact. Porter hasn't played as I'd like him too, but I wish some fans would stop looking for excuses to pick on players they dislike.

If the patriots give the Dolphins the Soddom and Gomorrah treatment, I hope the Fins make Joey walk home. That the pats are better isn't a mystery, they could have destroyed us without Porter's comments. But they've got a new starter at QB for the rest of the year and a lot of injuries, so it might have been Belichick's plan to play the percentages and simply beat us and move on.
Now, we've given them a reason to humiliate our team--at team that's quite rightly lacking in confidence right now. If the final score is a laugher it will do more harm to team morale than a victory would have helped.

Yep, because if we get destroyed now it's just Joeys fault, noone else. I wish one of the Pats would talk smack about us so we could put up 50 points if thats all it takes, get a grip. If we get destroyed it's because WE'RE NOT GOOD ENOUGH, not because a player had something to say before a game.
