On Fitzpatricks 31 yard run he broke the edge and spun inside. If he set the edge and stayed with contain, it was a sack by JT as JT beat his man soundly.

On Jacksons 1st TD, Porter overplayed his edge and shot upfield, allowing Mcintyre giving a clean block on the LB and letting Jackson waltz into the endzone.

On Jackson's 2nd TD and Buffalo's 3rd TD, Porter overshot the edge again and went all the way upfield giving Jackson a CLEAN lane to the endzone.

NOTE: Obviously he is not the sole man responsible for these 3 TDs, but he did play a pivotal role in the TDs.

Football is a team effort, especially defense. Unless there is a blown coverage or a missed tackle, it's really impossible to single out any one player on defense and say he was responsible for all these TD's. While you may have some valid points, I think you just don't like Joey Porter.

I hear ya, but at least for this game, Porter semi showed up...Jason Taylor was invisible...once AGAIN!!! We need to get rid of these old farts, who are dying late in games. We need to continue to add quality youth to the D like Vonte and Sean...and it can't seem to get done soon enough. :)

I think it's safe to say that there are many of us with that feeling.
I think it's safe to say that there are many of us that don't feel that way. Sometimes some people think that football is played by just one player. It is a team sport...

He is not the same player he was in the first 12 games last year.

Where was Chowder at this game? Running by plays, funneling plays...making no plays.

Just like you said, it was actually THREE blown assignments by Porter.

Crowder, Porter, Ayodele, they all sucked

I disagree, yes, one player can make a tackle, but one player cant overcome the 10 other players out of position, give Peezy break....

Chowder was there he was just in his Stealth mode. Come on now he showed up against Carolina so you know that means he will be stealth for 3 games!?!? Although you might see him this week getting another personal foul against the Pats!

Also what some of you didn't know.....

J.Porter called the Ricky throw in the endzone, so that's actually 4 TD's he cost us!!!!

More like 3 years before Crowder makes a play that means something

So it's unanimous, we are in agreement, Joey, and the other starting LB's are slow and either washed up or never were very good. We now know what the other 31 teams in the NFL knew all season long. Pardons to Wake, because he hasn't been on the field enough to make a difference and looks like the only one with explosion.
