This guy needs to shut up, he's the most overpaid dolphin that hasn't done didly pooh and he has the nerve to talk. Way to give a guy bulletin board material. How many games have the dolphins won in 2 years, and you got the nerve to talk about a guy who's on a winning team. He needs to concentrate on his game before he's worried about someone else's game. Get the dolphins a win first joey and shut the **** up.

yeah I bet you wished you had kept this thread to yourself now huh? 2 sacks and 1 forced fumble....keep talking ish! JP!

Yeah Joey, shut your mouth you can never back it up, I mean the way the Pats destroyed us....I mean........but........oh well maybe he was right after all and some fans should shut up!

lol, this thread got owned big time, but i'll admit, I was wishing Joey hadn't said what he said either, up until he put Cassell on his *** the first time, then I loved it. lol

I dont blame the dude for sayin this. But thank god Porter did what he did.

Me too. I cringed when he said it, because he is my fav defensive player and I know how much hate mail he gets...

The thing I don't understand is this. If a player gets double digit sacks for a season, (10 or more for the mathematically impaired) nine times out of ten they are a pro-bowl selection. That's essentially a sack every other game. Not very impressive when you break it down. Yet it's still the gold standard all elite pass-rushers are measured by. Joey didn't have double digit sacks last year. That fact is irrefutable. But how many times did he cause the QB to throw an errant pass or force him into another pass-rusher who eventually got the sack? How many times did his pressure indirectly result in a turnover? I don't pretend to know the actual numbers. I could be way off in assessing his play last year. He may really have just stunk up the joint last year, and some of our fans may be justified in their, "just shut up and play because you haven't done jack since you've been here" diatribes. After his monster performance today I guess it makes the point moot. But I think most of us (myself included) were a bit premature in calling Mr Porter out on his play since he's been here. I just thought this may be worth noting.
