So after a week of nonsense out of JP you would think he would have been released by now. But as of late he has not been realesed. It kinda had me scratching my head a bit and I got to thinking. Mabe a trade in the works? The only team I can think of off the top of my head would be the cheifs. They released to of they're LB's earlier this week. Im not sure what we would get for him but anything is better than nothing i guess.

If I have learned one thing about this front office, is that you will seldom if ever hear anything in the press about their intentions and anything you do hear is usually someone trying to make news.
 
They will keep him till March 4th before he makes his roster bonus and then cut him. Id bet they are try to trade him, thats why he has not been released yet.

As bad as he was, he still has name recognition. Off chance, there might be still a team out there willing to give a mid rounder or two for him.
Thats why he is still around.
