joey starting

now i hate to be a pessimist, but im wondering, lets just say...

GOD FORBID, Daunte is out for the season...injured in camp / the first or second game of the season.....and joey is the starter for the majority of the season

NOW, what does our record look like??

I'm thinkin he can't be much worse than Gus and the all around team is waaaaay better.....no worse then 9-7

Why is the Poll like Joey is starting the whole season?? Does anyone think that's gonna happen. Something horrible would have to happen to Daunte in Pre-season, not likely.

Second, does anyone really think "Daunte" means every game is a WIN?? Come on we're not the 72 Phins - yet!!

WHAT happens if Joey is winning games ... then Daunte starts and loses one? :D
I agree with your sentiment on Gus / Joey - Harrington's numbers were similar to Frerotte and that was playing for the lousy Lions. Just putting Joey on a good team with a halfway decent Coach, makes his numbers go UP.

For those who are obsessed with a QB's "numbers" anyway.
