How could some of you think that John Beck would be cut if Pennington is signed. We are talking about a player that is in his 2nd year here. Granted he might not be the future QB of this team but seriosly come on guys. You have a guy like McCown that hasn't shined over a rookie and a 2nd year guy and you guys think Beck will be cut.

McCown has been in the league 5 years and he hasn't done anything to warrant being a starter yet??? I think Beck is worth keeping. He CAN still develop!!! Even if he isn't the future. There is still much that he can be taught and develop. McCown is the one that will be cut mark those words. And nothing for nothing I would rather have Pennington start and have a QB throw it between 5 and 15 yards to our team then a QB like McCown throw it 5 and 40 to the other team. I have seen that long enough.

We bring Pennington and we have Beck and Henne for the future done deal. And I also think Beck plays tomorrow night regardless of what has been said.

I agree, Beck stays. Josh McClown will be the one to get cut if Pennington is brought in. Chainsaw Charlie is a career loser and a colossal failure.

Yeah, cut a 2nd round pick after his 2nd year. He will picked up immediately. And them Miami just gave away 2nd round pick away for free.

....and then he'll develop and shine with another team...another AFC East team!:shakeno:

Its no secret to know that Josh McCown sucks....was anyone excited when we signed him???

McCown would get the boot

Beck wasn't a Parcells pick.
Beck needs to deliver to save his own skin.

Ol' Josh will get the boot if we sign that scumbag "Peddington".But Becks days were numbered the second we drafted Henne.(IMO).

To those who say parcells type of qb is like bledsoe. And henne, research shows he only drafted two quarterbacks in his career as a gm.. Henne and pennington

Sean Payton found Romo. Payton went to the same small college (Eastern Illinois St) as Romo and knew about him from there. He was on the Cowboys staff at the time and told Parcells and crew to sign him as an UDFA
