I could see this happen since they're 1st and 2nd stringers are injured. Who is their 3rd stringer? With Beck's NFL experience, he might be a good fit for them considering their situation. Maybe we can get a low pick for Beck.
Thoughts?

Probably no chance . Both qb's are younger than Beck and both have shown more in the NFL than Beck, why trade when you have two guys better already under contract. Now if thier injuries were worse , maybe. Seriiously no team is salivating over Beck right now, this does not mean he wont develop at some point but at this time he has no value.

Now if the trade deadline had passed maybe but Im sure there would be more experienced choices. At this point you would not want to pick a relative novice to just throw in there.

Yeah deadline has passed. But if it wasnt, who knows, anything can happen with the Browns. Who expected them to trade Frye after the first game of the year last season.

Unless we can get like a 5th round pick for Beck, I see him on the roster at the start of next year's camp. I think someone will be drafted in the 6th or 7th round to compete with him for the #3 spot.

I think your right, if the deadline hadn't passed. I think they are going to trade Anderson and his huge salary and look to finding a cheaper back up. Especially if they can get it for a 5rd pick or less. If Im the Dolphins I would be asking for a 3rd or 4th rounder and give them Beck and a 7th next yr. What a steal that would be but I think we will have some folks looking at Beck next yr just because I think the league knows Beck was put in a no win situation in his rookie yr which set him back.

It's not a REAL John Beck thread until WVdolphan chimes in.

Their third stringer is Ken Dorsey.
