Im assuming not too many people on here watch alot of Seahawk games? Those of you that do, what do you think of Carlson? I believe the stat they gave was he had 55 catches last year, and that was in only 9 starts. The kid is going to be a stud this year. The reason I bring his name up is because it goes back to something Ive brought up before. This regime needs to get with the times a little bit and get a pass catching TE.

I realize it goes against the physical brand of football they want, but Ive yet to see that in a year and a half now. A guy like Gates, Tony G Dallas Clark, Carlson are such mismatches in coverage. If the team wants to dink and dunk, why not get a mismatch at the TE position? Save me all the Parcells likes big players, they have to be able to block. I know that. Im suggesting he get with the times a little, since this team cant power run it anyway.

Fasano is a pass-catching tight end. He's just not up there with the elite receiver-tight ends.

i like carlson.. i had him on my fantasy last year and drafted him again this year.. the kid is good and Fasano is a pass catching TE

Yea i drafted him early in Fantasy this year, hes tearing it up today.

Hes not asked to block much. Thats the point Iwas trying to get at. Cooley, Gates, Gonzalez, Clark. Why waste their talents asking them to block. Let them do what they do, which is outrun lb's and outmuscle safeties. I dont mind Fasano, but hes not the same type of TE as the ones I mentioned. Hes not a vertical threat.
