just said he expects DC to be released by Monday. The Dolphins are just doing due deligence in seeing if there is any trade value out there right now. All they would asking for is a 6th or 7th.

Everything I would expect the Dolphins to be doing. We can't keep him and let them battle it out due to risk of injury and his contract. We are at least being nice enough to release him sooner rather than later so he has plenty of time to find a team willing to give him a shot. I aslo don't think he realizes the money he is losing right now.:tantrum:

Right now he is a big distraction and you dont want a cancer like that in the organization. Something really bothered me I was watching the news and he was asked if his non trade clause was do to money, and he said no. I just will not be traded. What an ***

DC is pretty much making a losing situation for himself.
No he's not. He's making a winning situation for himself, like the dolphin hope to do by getting rid of him. He also doesn't owe the dolphins anything like they don't owe him anything. Its his job to do what's right for his future. Its not like the fans are going to take care of him.

I support that move. Get him out of here, and lets get through camp with no distractions for once.

Thats very good what D.Culpep. is doing they treated him like and he's doing same back to them i realy like that good for u D.Culp. you cant treat people the way you fans want to.When he got sign with us evey one was like oo were going to play offs now T.Jeans here thats rite i call him Jean people now hate D.C all of sudden nasty.

All this has to do with developing John Beck. You really can't do that with Green and Pepper on the roster together because that will take snaps from him.

Daunte said he wants to be cut, so that his new team doesn't get the excess baggage his contract carries. He's even willing to sign a one year deal with an option, so that his new team can get a chance to know him as a man, and so he can prove himself on the field.

It seems like he's handling this situation pretty good. I hate to let him go. But, there really isn't another way. We moving in the right direction. And even if we kept him to back up Green for less money. He could be a distraction. I just hope over the next 5-8 years, Beck wins more games then C-Pep.

This is a business pure and simple, the player is the tool, the team is the product and we as fans are the consumers.
Mgt. owes it to the bottom line to put the best product on the field it can which in turn will derive the greatest profit.
Barring emotion and any sense of misguided loyalty why would or should the Fins continue to carry DC, who I believe misrepresented himself as to the severity of his continuing injury.
Now he's saying he was rushed back? I can remember reading several posts last year with him running around saying that he had no pain!
It is sad that it has broken down to this finger pointing and unproffesional way of doing things but Cam owes it to all of those involved to make us the best we can be.

huh?

Very true. As long as he is under contract he has leverage in negotiating with another team. Once he is released, no one will sign him for more than league minimum.

Daunte is really shooting himself in the foot. For him to even act like what he is doing is in his best interest is silly.

He should sign Brett Tressler fast and let him make an unemotional and reasonable deal w/ the team who is the best fit.
