john clayton is sayin that the chargers have untill thursday to work a deal with drew brees, or hes a FA.... he says theres a good chance that he becomes a free agent and goes somewhere else.....

and on culpepper he said there is a good chance that he is going to get cut.

I dont like his injury at all. Nasty. I think SD had in their minds that Brees was going to be their guy and they would dish Rivers, now i think they see the injury and now he is damaged goods and they know this.

Yep. A shoulder injury and a QB just do not go hand in hand.

Brees tore his labrum. The labrum is not associated with arm strength like a rotator cuff. I tore my labrum, had it repaired arthoscopically, and was mountain biking within six weeks after the surgery without any pain. Its really not a major injury as far as shoulder injuries go.

If Saban gets the chance, he should sign the guy ASAP!
