Of the top 5 surprise Playoff teams, Dolphins are number 4. His reasons were basically that we have one of the easiest schedules in the AFC and Trent Green gives us a solid QB we haven't had in a long time.:kick:

What do you guys think??:beer1:

i think he knows nothing...yes we do have somewhat of a weak schedule but i definately don't think that trant green is anywhere near solid. He was on a team with a good running game and a horrible passing game and that mat just have been due to him. The only reciever who did anything on that team wasn't a reciever at all and that's gonzalez and we all know he's one of the best TE of all time. Trent Green was a waste of a pick up and just getting him showed that we are still willing to give up draft picks for other teams waste!

I think the key will be how well we do in our divison. I would love to see us go 4 and 2 in our division. If we crap out in our divison it will be a tough road to the play offs.

I think the London Game might prove to be our make or break game just do to the wear and tear it might have on the team traveling overseas. If we come away with a W there, it might help for a stong push to the playoffs during our toughest part of the schedule!!

i do agree that we will be a surprise team next season but i also say that every season so i may be a little biast in that respect. I think our D will be one of the top 4 in the league and i do believe that our offense will be better due to Cam and his offensive mind. We have the threats on offense, we just need to utilize them better.

Why don't you actually watch game film of Trent Green before you make such a negative post. Better yet, watch the last 3 games he had against our defense.
His passing numbers prior to last season were very good, DESPITE having a below average group of WR's. Gonzalez is good, but you can't have a prolific passing with just a TE.

Well, your knowledge of the Chiefs and Trent's abilities the last 4 years is minimal at best. Trent only had one receiver (TG) and he still was one of the most prolific passers (top 5) in the league between 2002-2005. maybe you should read some more threads before posting again.

his WRs sucked

Trent Green's history is that of a smart accurate passer. We haven't had one of those since Feidler. Yet TG can throw the out pattern, LOL

If Miami can make the playoffs I will be one of the happiest people alive no matter how they got in.

when have u heard of trent green and great passer in the same sentence?. he is not a very good QB and we all know it. when we were speculating on picking this guy up all i saw was negative threads on him and how he is old and washed up goods. yes his WR sucked but we could also say that the QB makes the WR just as much as the WR make the QB. He had a great complation % because he threw short passes most of the time and most of them screens to his rb.

ill be the first one to hope he does do well so dont think im just bashing trent, im speaking my opinion and thats all. trust me, if he does well for us..i will be the first one out of my seat chanting trent!! but i just dont believe he's the answer. especially not long term.

I really don't know what to make of what John Clayton said. But I really don't care about what some of our "fans" thinks about what he says. Mostly because the same fans that would say we are superbowl bound based on Clayton's predictions, would be the same fans ready to tear him a new one, and call him an f-ing idiot, if he said anything remotely negative. I'll be a lot more willing to make an objective assessment of our team at the bye week/midway point of the season.

i agree totally. we have been picked many of times to be in the super bowl by these same "experts" before and had a losing season.
