AFC East:

As long as the Patriots take care of their division games, nobody else will have a chance. The Bills had a chance a week ago and lost 21-16 in Foxborough. The Dolphins have a chance Sunday in Miami, but if the Patriots win, they will start to run away with the division. The Bills and Dolphins appear to be heading to 7-9 seasons. That's great for the Dolphins and horrible for the Bills. Nick Saban could gain a lot of momentum with a 4-4 finish. They will spend the offseason looking for a quarterback to upgrade from Frerotte. Their closing schedule of 26-40 could lead to a strong finish. The Bills' closing schedule of 36-28 is much tougher and should promote a move to get J.P. Losman some playing time. The Jets are playing out a miserable season. The best they can hope for is 5-11, but they've already started four different quarterbacks. Jay Fiedler could be back soon, and that could give them a better chance to win a few games down the stretch.
Prediction: Patriots win division.

I know alot of us were hoping 8-8, but, I agree with Clayton that 7-9 wouldn't be a bad thing related to where we were last year and where we're trying to get to and improve. I'll take a 3 win improvement, then, hopefully get some more pieces in place next year to improve on the 7 wins by another couple of wins if not more.

I'm not saying he's wrong, because I think we could finish anywhere from 6-10 to 10-6, but of our remaining games there are 5 very winnable games, that could put us at 8-8.

The other three games are two against the Pats and one against the Chargers.

It all boils down to whether this team finds itself this weekend I think, despite all the justifiable negativity on this board about Gus it is possible this team could get on a roll and take this division, there has never been an easier time to do it as all of our division rivals are hurting this year.

I think Saban see's this opportunity and that is why you won't see a QB change until we are out of it.

I just had a flashback!!!

Jay Fiedler, savior of the New York Jets? :rofl3: Though I guess he did save them in that Monday Night Massacre and all those other games.

If Miami wins against NE, that's a huge momentum shift for either team. And they better upgrade from Frerotte. If he's the starter next season, something went horribly wrong.

This Is It, By Week 10 Teams Are Rounding Into Form, If You Arent Rounding Then You Are All Done!!!
We Will See Alot This Week As Far As How Far We Have Come,
Having This Game In Our Back Yard Should Help Out.

Go Fish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can cram it up your cram hole because the fins are gonna beat the patriots and win every other game and get into the play offs. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo

I dont know, I have looked hard at other teams in our division. I think taking Buffalo and NY jets and New England is very doable. If we win this week, which I think the refs are going to call butt scratching on us this week to give Tommy Brady All America his gift so he can still claim his greatness, even though we will kick his *** into the ground, then I think we can go 10-6. Our other games are not really that tough. San Diego and New England in NE is the toughest ones we got.

7-1 in the 2nd half of the season? Stranger things have happened before I guess.

If we don't win both games against the Pats our season will be over. Sunday is make or break for us in terms of the division title.
