John Denney cut by the Dolphins

With all of the potentially dislikeable moves made this offseason, this one genuinely hurts the most. I thought he was the only truly safe player on the roster after Farnsworth was cut.

Denney had been the long snapper since I was in elementary school and I think any memories I have of the team overlap with his tenure.

We just lost a great locker room leader, veteran, and hopefully a future Ring of Honor member.

I don't even feel there's any player worth buying a jersey for this year, so I guess #92 gets atleast 1 more solid year of service for me.

From a rebuilding standpoint, I am totally okay with moving on from a 40 year old.

But from an everything else standpoint, sad times. :confused:

Long live the legend. May he sign with a non-Patriots SB contender and hold that Lombardi up in Feb '20.
 
That's a sad one. Great career with Miami. I can't think of one time that Denney failed this team. Best of luck to Denney wherever he ends up.
 
Anyone know how we can reach John to let him know how much he was appreciated? I mean he truly was
