Down by one he went for the two point conversion instead of kicking the extra point to tie it...

That took sack.

It is currently being reviewed.

I am watching it right now and what a crazy game this is. I still think that it was a dumb idea because the Skins have 58 seconds left to score.

So? If they did kick the extra point the skins still have 58 seconds to score. Instead of going to overtime, the bucs win. It was quite the gamble.

I don't think I would even make that gamble in madden......and I'm as agressive as you get.

That did take some gall. I'm surprised, especially for two teams that are in the thick of things in the NFC.

It took nuts but I understand the call and I understand why you go for it like that. His team has been playing poor and this is there best performance in awhile and if they go for it and get it this will give them all the confidence again and if they miss well then a lot of other people have already thought the season was going down the drain anyways.

Also when you have a back like Mike Alstott, you have a better chance of making those things.

One other note, how bout Chris Simms? I've known this guy could play for a while, but it took him a few weeks for it to show up on the field. The Bucs o-line seemed to be folding in on every play but he still won teh game for them, with the help of some Wr's that can actually catch a deep pass.

Took some serious nads to do that. Props to Gruden. Might be the difference between making the playoffs for the Bucs and missing the playoffs for the Skins.

There was a flag on the PAT which gave the Bucs the ball on the one, and he went for it. Made his choice easier...but had he not made it, he would have been crucified by Buc Fans...

BTW, this also happened in the San Diego-Oakland game last week in which SD won...

gruden is the most conservative guy in the NFL and he has a thing against alstott. i never in a million years would've thought he would do that. but it was awesome...gotta love it

That call was AWESOME. That was honestly the best sequence of events for a PAT I have ever seen.

Thats what Washington gets for jumpin the snap. It was a great call by Gruden. Personally, I think Washington did a good job of getting into the kickers head on that play. They were trying soooo hard to block that kick and they figured "heck, if we dont block it, we just move them a yard closer then they rekick."

Knowing Gruden is very conservative, it was a good call by Washington to try to give them a chance to block the kick.

Gruden wasnt predictable and must have been ticked off Washington tried to do that. Im VERY VERY happy that they got the 2pt conv. Im not a fan of either of those teams but Washington was trying to bend as much as possible to block the PAT and they got what was coming.

Karma was awesome on that play. Washington could have settled for the tie and gone to overtime, instead they lost.
