Jerry was a decent starter on this O-line. Had his ups and downs but we could of defenitly done alot worse.

We signed "a lot worse", Shelly is much worse than Jerry in pass pro. Not even close.

He's below average. He's fat and never quite gets into game shape - so in my mind he's not motivated enough. And, he took a lot of first down false starts that put us in holes last year. Not mentally strong IMO. I didn't want him back unless he was a clear backup.

The year Jerry was drafted he got hurt and Pat McQuistan filled in for him and let me tell you in the eyes of Finheaven John Jerry's return from injury was going to save the offensive line. Reality was, and it shows you how much we really know, he could hardly keep McQuistan off the field when he returned. Now he leaves Miami and he's just a fat slob bully. Finheaven where you can go from savior to fat slob bully in the blink of an eye.

Guess Giants management didn't really care about the Wells report much now did they, nor are they worried about him creating a toxic environment.

...or the Giants are confidant that they have a coach and staff that pays attention to what's going on, and enough solid leadership on the team to keep any bs in check.
