For some reason i believe that if the web was around in 1980 we would could pull up a thread just like this about Stevenson and by his first pro bowl season in 83 the critics would be no where to be found. And for the few straglers that might still linger they would proclaim "overrated" Ah the wonders and joys of anonymity and arm chair GMs that havent "quite" broken into the NFL.
 
He came into camp overweight and out of shape
 
I really don't like the idea of Columbo starting.
 
The team told Carey he was the new RG so i'm thinking John Jerry has a decent shot at getting cut.Nothing coming out of camp about him has been good.They may give him another year because they liked him so much coming out of college but we all know this team likes to move on from draft picks after a year if they don't get what they thought they were getting.

Myself i think all 3rd around picks should have two years on a team before they should be counted on to start.Teams are moving from that train of thought and that's why in today's NFL 70% of 3rd round picks are what most of you would call a bust.

The Pouncey story is not going to be too much unlike the Jerry story. Neither are as good as their brothers. I am sure many will find a thousand reasons or excuses for Pouncey like they did for Jerry. I said from day one Jerry was not going to work out and I am saying the same thing for Pouncey, he is not an NFL center. I do not care who we have at guard, if the Center cannot anchor the Oline, the opposing Ds will march up our middle.

thats nice and all but the what would REALLY be helpful is if you could tell me if now is a good time to invest in futures or precious metals.
 
After all these issues with the offensive line it is time for a new offensive line coach. There is always a common denominator and in this case this coach has been allowed to stay around too long probably because of his ties with Sporano. Tony has done many things right but what has stood out as being wrong more than anything is this offensive line issue in his 4th season. This should have been taken care of 2 years ago.
TOny is is his own grave digger in this regard.
 
lol at us having to resort to 35 year old washed up O linemen to patchwork our Oline together in year FOUR... FOUR Drafts and FOUR Offseasons and these idiots cannot solve a problem they have thrown high pick after high pick on while neglecting THE most important position in all of sports.
Unreal... we are going 5 - 11 at best.
