dude took 1 real punch and was out for over 10 min. I thought he was dead!! No joke, dude was out of it like I have neve seen anyone out of it before in an MMA match

"Former NFL receiver Johnny Morton suffered a devastating, first-round knockout in his mixed martial arts debut Saturday night at the Coliseum, was taken to a hospital for observation and then refused to supply a urine sample for drug testing. Morton has been suspended, according to Armando Garcia, executive director of the California State Athletic Commission."
 
If he ever needs to continue fighting I think alot of smaller show would be good to get experience.

Johnnie Morton, who played for the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs, was hospitalized but not seriously hurt

Former NFL receiver Johnnie Morton was knocked out less than a minute into his first professional mixed martial arts bout, then was suspended from the sport for refusing to take a drug test.

Morton's debut Saturday night at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum ended 38 seconds into the first round, when he caught a right hand to the head from Bernard Ackah of the Ivory Coast.

Morton, who played for the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chief, was hospitalized but not seriously hurt, Armando Garcia, executive director of the California State Athletic Commission, told the Los Angeles Times.

"He is fine, alert and everything is moving normally. Obviously he is disappointed," Garcia said after receiving a report on Morton's condition.
