Johnthan Banks cut by the bucs.

Def worth a look. Miami should be all over this if he is a good special teams player.

damn seeing how Hargraeves & Grimes beat him out & he couldn't even get snaps I don't know about him but maybe it was a scheme fit.
 
We need to continue to churn the cb group, bring him in
 
Worth a look. I'd rather take a chance on a guy who makes plays even if they get burned

I wanted to draft this guy back when.

He hasn't worked out in TB. A lot of Bucs fans blame it on Lovie Smith and not the players themselves, but who really knows. Certainly there are a fair few rumours that Banks thinks he is a lot better than his play has shown, but he's hardly unique in the NFL for that trait.

Kid is in a contract year on a rookie contract and had a lot fo talent coming out. He's had some good spells in TB so he seems like a good reclamation project that won't cost the earth. Physically he is a very prototypical specimen for our scheme, though like all our CBs lacks a bit of top end speed to keep with receivers.
 
I don't think Miami will after adding benwikere and lippett looking ok so far

kniles davis I see as a possibility but I don't know much about his pass protection
 
Some of my friends who are Bucs fans seem to think he's capable of succeeding elsewhere.

Would be surprised if we didn't take a look...especially if they're not expecting Howard back to full for a few more weeks.
