We are still short 3 picks to reach the magical 12 picks number that Parcells is wanting. I could definately see Beck being part of a draft day trade to aquire more picks or move up a round. Or even possibly both.
I just dont see us manufacturing these 3 pics easily unless we are talking a late 6th or 7th rounder.

Not predicting the future, but what if Beck is still a Dolphin after the draft, does that mean the countdown was "all for not" and thus, making this thread a failure?

It is a safe bet this thread will be a failure long before draft day!
I would load up on that bet Fang. Rev Kev, you know you can count me in, however I fear that Beck will remain on the team until he is cut. When that will be I cant say for sure. He may stick around until his contract is up. If we draft Pat White it could be in August or sooner, but my problem with your scenerio(which I love btw, I would gladly take a player or draft selection for Beck), is I simply dont feel anyone will want to trade for John Beck.
